Our new location and Slaughterhouse Scooter Rally breakfast.

After 3 years in our original location Acme Cycle Chicago moved 1/2 mile west to our new location at 5035 W Belmont Ave. Moving is never easy. But after lots of planning, long days, and hard work the move is complete! Our new location is, well...new! The build out was completed within days of moving in. Customers can wait in our fresh, nicely appointed waiting room. We also have more room for winter bike storage. And the shop area is better equipped to get our customers back on their bikes riding quickly.

What better way to break-in the new location than to host a Saturday breakfast for the 23rd Annual Slaughterhouse Scooter Rally. The morning weather was perfect. There was a great turn out, and it was fun seeing and talking with familiar faces along with meeting new ones. And it was a blast to see both sides of Belmont Ave in front of the new shop packed with scooters and motorcycles both vintage and modern. We provided much needed sustenance in the form of coffee, juice, pastries, deli meats, and pizza (breakfast of champions!) for the scooter riders before they embarked on the day's rally scooter ride.

A big thanks goes to Jen Vant and all the Slaughterhouse crew and participants for coming by and supporting the new shop. And don't forget fall/winter is a great time for us to perform vintage scooter rebuilds.
